Buhari holds closed-door meeting with CBN Governor On Border Re-Opening

President Muhammadu Buhari has engaged Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), in a closed-door meeting, today.

The meeting started around 11.30 am, and was held at the President’s office within the State House, Aso Villa.

mNaija learnt that the meeting is among the last official meeting the president would be having before leaving for Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom later.

Speaking with State House correspondents after the closed-door meeting, the CBN Governor insisted that neighbouring countries must engage with Nigeria before the Nigerian border is reopened.
