Champions League Draw: It’s Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo Again.

The Champions League round of 16 draw has paired Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) against the Premier League side Manchester United.

mNaija reports that United and PSG met in Group H of last season’s Champions League.

Recall that United recorded a 2-1 win at the Parc des Princes, but lost the home fixture 3-1.

The draw will see a return of old rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have since both changed clubs.

The pair have met in 36 previous games, with Messi finishing on the winning side 16 times compared to Ronaldo’s 11, with Messi also having 22 goals to Ronaldo’s 21 in those matches.

Liverpool take on Salzburg for the first time in the competition, while defending champions, Chelsea face Lille of France.

Manchester City will play reigning Europa League winners Villarreal, while Benfica will square up with Real Madrid.

The last-16 ties will be split across different weeks, with the first legs taking place on February 15-16 and February 22-23.

The second legs would take place on March 8-9 and March 15-16.
