INEC Declares LP’s Alex Otti Winner of Abia poll
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Alex Otti of the Labour Party (LP) as the winner of the Abia State governorship election.

mNaija reports that Alex polled 175,467 votes to defeat Okey Ahiwe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 88,529 votes.
Alex Otti is now the 4th democratically elected of the State and the first candidate to be governor from a political party that’s not PDP since 1999.
