MTN Introduces Single View Balance
MTN Nigeria has introduced a new and more comprehensive flash notification when users checked their balance. Called the Single View Balance, It is a service that enables customers view ALL their Airtime, Voice, Data bundle and Bonus balance in ONE view upon dialing *556#.
To enjoy The Service:
The customer will dial *556# and s/he will receive a summary of Airtime, Voice and Data bundle/bonus balances via FLASH notification message and a corresponding SMS notification message with a detailed breakdown of all active balances.

Postpaid Customers Gets New USSD For Balance Enquiries
Meanwhile. before now, for postpaid subscribers on MTN network to check their balance, they need to dial *558#. Now, that has been retired. Consequently, *556# is now the universal balance enquiry code. In words, either you are a prepaid or postpaid customer, simply *556# to check your balance.
