How To Participate In The MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition
The MTN mPulse Spelling Bee is a spelling competition being organized by MTN for students between the ages of 9 and 15 who are on the mPulse tariff plan.
This edition of the Spelling Bee Competition will be done digitally and it will run from October 19, to December 5, 2020. Interested contestants will be able to sign in and start practicing on the mPulse website as they prepare for the start date of the competition on October 19, 2020.
Prizes To Be Won
There are over 5 million cash prizes and more for student winners, their teachers and their school. Also include are laptops, scholarship grants, smartphones etc
How It Works
The competition comprises 3 rounds, shortlisted winners of each round will move to the next round:
1st round– 10 spelling questions to be held on the mPulse website (mtnonline.com/mpulse). (19th Oct-11th Nov)
2nd round-20 spelling questions to be held on the mPulse website for only shortlisted students from the 1st Round. (16th-27th Nov)
Grand finale– to be held via a live video conferencing platform.(5th Dec)
How To Participate In The MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Competition
First off, the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee competition is for 9-15 year old. So if you belong in this group, simply follow the below guide to participate in the competition;
1: Sign up as a student to the mPulse website.
2: Click on mPulse Spelling Bee from the dropdown menu this will open the Spelling Bee page on which you will see the Play button
3: Clicking the Play button will display a practice test for participants to practice with
4: Click Take Quiz to start the 1st round.
