Manchester United football club have signed Danish professional footballer, Christian Eriksen.
The English Premier League side announced the development on their official Twitter page on Friday.
The Red Devils tweeted: “We can’t wait to see you in red at Old Trafford,
“Christian Eriksen is a RED”.
Skysports reports that United made a lucrative offer for the Danish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for the Denmark national team.
mNaija understands that Eriksen is also capable of playing as a central midfielder.
Eriksen had some playing moments with Manchester United’s new manager, Erik Ten Hag, when he trained with Ajax as part of his return to football following his horrifying collapse while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020.
Meanwhile, the reformation plan in Manchester United has continued as three more players are reportedly set to leave the club this summer.
mNaija reports that the English Premier League club had a disappointing 2021-2022 season. The Red Devils could not qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
The club, however, have been making effort to rebuild the squad ahead of the new season.
Reports by Mirror said the likes of Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe are up for sale before the transfer window closes this summer.
