A meeting between Cristiano Ronaldo‘s agent Jorge Mendes and Juventus in Turin has reportedly ended without any agreement reached on Thursday.
Juventus aims to sell Ronaldo before his contract expires next summer and he wants to leave. However, the Italian giant want £25m before letting Ronaldo leave.
No more meetings were scheduled on Thursday, with Mendes looking for a club willing to buy the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Meanwhile, Current English Premier League champions, Manchester City are reportedly eager to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to the blue side of Manchester, according to Sky in Italy
In a bid to strengthen squad and boost their chase for another league trophy this summer, the Pep Guardiola’s side needs a striker and Ronaldo has been identified as a perfect replacement for Aguero.
City had in the previous transfer window traded its former striker, Sergio Aguero to Spanish football giants, FC Barcelona.
According to Italian transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, City are ready to offer the Portugal international between €14m-15m a year in wages to join them from Juventus.
Ronaldo who still has about 11 months left in his current contract with the Serie A club may be set to leave Juve for Etihad this summer if things worked out as planned.
City, however, has until the transfer deadline on Tuesday to complete the 36-year-old striker’s deal or look elsewhere.
